Meet Brenda
I grew up in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. Growing up, I had a wonderful loving family and amazing friends. As a teen, I worked, went to school, and was active in my church. We didn’t have much money, but we were happy.
When I graduated high school, I decided to venture a bit far from home for college and was glad that I did. It set the stage for my future in so many ways. I went to college in Texas during those first two years and loved it. I then completed my Bachelor of Business Administration at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina. South Carolina is now my home and where my son and grandchildren reside. I have ten grandchildren and am blessed to live close to them, next door in fact.
I’ve spent most of my career in corporate America, but in recent years, I have worked on corporate projects through consulting. I’ve lived in multiple places around the country and traveled even more. I’ve been to 42 of our 50 states, including Puerto Rico and have traveled to ten countries outside the United States.
Outside of work and now this blog, I stay busy with my grandkids. As you can imagine, there is always something fun to do. Sporting events, school shows and award ceremonies, birthdays that seem to be endless and a whole host of other life events.
I hope you enjoy your visit here and will come back many times in the future!
